Key outputs and responsibilities:
- Contribute to continuously improve the plant, processes and systems
- Provide technical support and enhance machine, system and process capabilities
- Make technical recommendations of changes required by production team
- Execute small process improvement projects
- Assist in the implementation of plant and process improvement projects
- Maintain, repair and optimize plant and associated devices
- Assist with and manage Routine Plant Maintenance
- Interact daily with the production team to resolve process related problems
- Work in teams, support WCM initiatives
- Mentor production staff on manufacturing system issues
- Standby duties, and able to work shifts as required
- Ensure a safe healthy and risk-free working environment
Profile:
- Minimum entry: N6 and a Trade Test Qualification
- Minimum of 3 years instrumentation equipment maintenance and PLC experience as well as a good fault-finding capability
- Experience with Siemens S7 PLC/TIA portal and ASI bus system. Fieldbus Networks (EtherNet/IP and Wonderware Historian will be an advantage
- Knowledge of OHS act, NOSA Key competencies and attributes
- Concern for detail and accuracy
- Team player
- Driven for continuous improvement
- Good Problem-Solving Skills
- Good Technical knowledge
- Resilient and hard working
